Nessviewer

NessViewer will now test connection with default settings, if this fails it will clear proxy settings and try again with no proxy. If this fails, it will check for proxy settings and set them again before attempting one more connection. If it is still unable to establish a connection, NessViewer will then switch to offline licensing. I am not sure if it is allowed and wanted to mention our product, nessViewer, which have the feature you requested. Please note that we are the distributer of this application - it is commercial and costs 19.90 Euro.

Changed name of ShaferFilechck.dll to NessViewerFilechck.dll
Added wait cursor to Excel exports on all tabs
Added resolution of hostnames to IPs tab, including the ability to populate table from Excel, CSV, XML, and DISA CKLs. Data can be saved to XML or Excel to be loaded again at a later date.

Licensing process

CORE released a new multimedial application for MAC OSX. Description: nessViewer combines functionality of DVD Player, FrontRow, QuickTime Player and Preview. The multiplicity of functions allows the editing, arrangement and presentation of varying media (pictures, movies, DVDs, PDFs).

Dashboard tab
- Changed Scan information and Scan Totals to source their info from master data table, this decreases load times
- Added option to use DOD or Nessus Severity, DOD is default
- Added handling for all tabs to use DOD or Nessus Severity based on checkbox state
- Changed IAVA Summary to IAVM summary and configured to retrieve IAVAs and IAVBs, these valuses are retrieved from the external reference field in the .nessus file

Anlaysis tab
- Changed IAVA to External Reference, this field now retrieves all external references, not just IAVAs
- Added scaninfo, port range, credentialed scan, and external reference fields
